1) This is the 1st of September, what do you want to accomplish by the 31st?
Well both mine and my best friend’s 19th birthdays are this month, so I guess starting to enjoy my last year as a teenager is a good start.
I would also like to have worked out what to say to one of my other really good friends who’s just been put onto antidepressants for the third time in her life. She’s considerably older than I am, but we’re still really close, close enough that I feel as if I should “know” what to say/do, but I don’t. Hopefully I’ll figure it out soon!

2) What does September make you think about or feel?
In N.Z., September is the beginning of spring, so I quite like this month, since I love warm weather and hate the cold! September’s also my birthday, so that’s always exciting, even though, having has 18 of them already, it’s nowhere near as much fun as it used to be!

3) September is the ninth month; can you name nine memories so far from this year?
Argh! No! Well, I probably HAVE nine, but when I’m put on the spot and asked to name them I completely go blank!

4) What does September have in common with three other months and can you name them?
Hrmph. I don’t like this Friday Five. It involves too much thinking *feels dumb*

5) The first weekend in September signals the end of summer for many even though it doesn’t really end for weeks. When does summer end for you?
Heh. Summer for me ends in January or February (or even March), so it’s only just beginning! Woohoo!

Today my friend and I went into town to look for a present for my dad for Father’s Day, which is on Sunday. We didn’t find anything though, and I’ve come to the conclusion that dad actually has no interests. He doesn’t read, or play sport, or like music! Argh! So, mum and I resorted to boring old chocolates etc. it’s always good, but it’s not very exciting. Oh well, lol!

Uni starts again on Monday, I’m sort of looking forward to it, but at the same time sort of not, since it means I have to be organised and start working again. Hahah. Although since we worked out that my sore neck (which is no longer sore, and my red eyes are going away, YAY!) wasn’t caused by my working too hard at the gym, I can go back again! I’m quite happy about that. I hate sport, but I don’t mind the gym. I wonder if that’s strange. Hahah.

Because I’ve managed to accumulate a huge number of affiliates over the last little while (through being accepted by a lot more people than I expected!!), I think it’s time I had a bit of an overhaul. If your site is still active (i.e running, not just on hiatus), and you still want to be affiliates with me, please either email, tag or comment. Yep, I have another new layout! Belle was pretty, but I didn’t really like it that much, the CSS bugged me. Sooo, now I have a new one! It’s all pretty and summery, since it’s (officially) the first day of spring tomorrow! Yay! it’s about 18C today, which isn’t too bad!

Thanks everyone who replied to my affie clean-up so far, I’m not trying to get rid of people, lol, I’m just trying to work out whose site’s havs shut down, since I have a few affiliates who haven’t updated since about June…? if you haven’t commented yet, all you need to do it let me know you’re still alive, just a tag or something is fine.

I added a couple of (not very exciting) photos to my gallery. My auntie was going through her computer and sent me pics of Christmas a couple of years ago. Random! It’s so funny coz there’s one of me with two of my cousins, who’re both surfers and really really tanned and I look extremely white! Well, I AM extremely white! Heheh.

Yep! In case you hadn’t already noticed, I now have a splash page! Mostly to warn people that this site doesn’t look the best in I.E, lol. I might put my affies buttons etc up there too, eventually.

I went to the optometrist this morning, I didn’t see my regular one, but this other women peered into my eye and took photod and stuck some weird UV dye stuff in it and she reckons it’s viral conjunctivitis. Yum. Lol. She said it normally takes 3 to 6 weeks to clear up completely, and I’ve had it for two, so hopefully it shouldn’t get any worse. She’s given me eye drops and this eye bleaching (I know, it sounds horrible, but it’s not) stuff to whiten it so it doesn’t look so bad. I still can’t wear my contact lenses, but I have my glasses which are nice anyway (i.e I don’t mind wearing them in public, lol), so that’s all good.

My neck’s probably 95% better now, it still twinges a bit if I do the wrong thing or sit with bad posture for too long, but otherwise it’s ok. Yay, I’m getting to the end of my health issues now, lol!

Lol! Well we THINK we found out what my allergic reaction was to! SOAP!? A couple of days before mum’s aunt came to stay with us, mum bought some new soap and put it in the bathroom and shower. Of course I started using it, and a few days later everything started to happen! Is it just me, or do you also find it thoroughly ridiculous that a bar of soap could have caused all these problems, my strange rash (ok, so that’s understandable), sore neck (which is getting heaps better) and red eye (which I’m going to the optometrist about tomorrow)?
Oh well, needless to say, I have now stopped using that soap, so we’ll see what happens! *fingers crossed*

You also might have noticed I’ve now run out of Belle dolls (famous last words, Crystal!), so I’m using the first one again, oh well, I cant spend my entire life hunting around on the internet!

Here’s something disturbing, yesterday I was on my mum’s (pretty old) laptop, and I viewed my site. It looked horrible! Everything was really big (not sure why, since the screen’s the same size as my iBook) and the background of the blog iframe was white!? Does anybody else see it as white!? I hope not! I’m hoping it’s just because she had such an old version of I.E….
