Hahah! Thanks (again) to everyone who’s trying to help me with my CSS problems, I’ve lots of suggestions now, so hopefully something will work!

I just have to say though, what the HECK is with all the spam comments about porn and viagra! I have a setting that sends me an email notification every time someone comments, and today I got 108! No joke!!! Two or three of them were genuine and all the rest were spam! I know there are spam blockers for WP out there, so it looks as if I’m going to have to set one up *sigh*

Linda, if you’re reading this, thanks for your little ghostie gift, it’s very cute! I tried to get to your site, but my browser is being stupid and telling me it’s “unavaliable” Either that or you’re in the middle of a layout change or something and have disabled your index page. I’ll try again later.

I also have a new affiliate! Antoinette (I had to check how to spell that, oh dear!) from degreenify.com. You should all go and look at her site, especially if you’re a theatre fan, particularly of Wicked, it’s pretty cool.

Right, off to a) Try the CSS fixing suggestions; B) Get a spam blocker C) Update my sidebar. Perverted porn commenting people, if you’re reading this, sod off! Lol!

Woohoo! I have a blog theme that looks like it fits! really I just went back to the old CSS and then messed with the colours until they matched, which it cheating, but oh well, I don’t care. I can’t be bothered wasting any more time on it and I think it turned out ok, at least in my browser, so I’m happy. If you spot any gaping errors though, please tell me!

Pop-up comments I KNOW are still there. They’re insane and ugly and horrendous and I hate them, but I don’t know how to fix them, so for now they’re staying.

Next thing on my list is all the spam. I’ve had 2 since I posted that last entry would you believe!? I think they’re all flooding me out of spite. Hrumph. :/

Does anyone know of any good spam blocking plugin thingees, which are idiot proof? How does everyone else cope with all this rubbish!?

Yay! A new layout! Finally!

I’ve a question though, the CSS for my blog is screwed, and I can’t figure out how to make the text the same size as the text on the sidebar, I think it’s supposed to be “1pt”, but who knows what it is now, default or something I suppose. Lol. I know it should be really simple to do, and I’ve played around a bit already so I might have already fixed and just not be able to see it in my browser…who knows…any comments are appreciated, heheh!

Anyway! Other stuff. You might have noticed that this site has shrunk a bit. I don’t have any visitor content anymore (the ask/answer script has moved to the me section) and I have text links instead of affie buttons. I think it just looks a bit neater, considering this site is a blog after all.

I’ve new photos in my gallery too. Of the show I was just in. Unfortunately I don’t have very many, since I forgot to bring my camera until final day, but there are a few of us backstage, and I’m hoping I might be able to get some more up if some people from the cast send me some they took.
