I went shoe shopping again today, and actually found some shoes that I liked! Three pairs actually, one pair of white jandals (thongs/slip-ons) which were $20, one pair of cute black ones with a big bow on the top and shiny pink inside, which were $20 and one pair of sneaker-type ones which were nearly $80. Not too bad, I didn’t originallly intend to buy 3 pairs, but I figured I’ll get wear out of all of them, especially the sneakers when I start work (yay for working at a school!). I’d post photos of them, but I’m reeeeallly too lazy and I don’t even know if my camera even has charged batteries.

Later tonight we have to go pick my Dad up from the airport coz he’s been away for the day on business. I do not like the airport carpark. It is not my friend. Once a couple of years ago my parents were dropping me at the airport for a school trip and we were waiting at the ticket machine to go into the carpark. A big 4WD was in front of us, and must have stopped too far away from the ticket machine, so the driver had to reverse backwards so they could reach. They reversed right into our car! Luckily they stopped as soon as they realised they’d hit us, so the damage wasn’t too bad, but ever since we’ve been quite nervous going into the carpark, especially if we can see a 4WD in front of us!

Hah! Well I found the MB I was looking for, someone posted a redirection notice on the original site, so other people must have been lost too. Lol.

In other news, there’s currently a comet in the sky above NZ. I’m not usually very interested in that kind of thing, but last night we went outside after dark and saw it. I tried to take photos, but it was too far away, too cloudy and not bright enough, so they didn’t turn out very well. Apparently it’s going to be visible for the next couple of weeks though, so I might try and get some photos yet.

Well I have absolutely nothing else to blog about today, so I shall go and visit some affiliates.

Does anybody know where the heck Teahouse MB has gone!? I don’t know about you, but when I click on that link I get a website that appears to be for some sort of spa company?

I know that right after I joined there was all the business about them getting repeatedly hacked, and therefore planning to relocate their entire site, so I’m guessing that’s what’s happened, only I have a slight problem, I haven’t a clue in the world where they’ve relocated TO!? Anyone know?

I just joined this evening and it looks awesome! It’s not quite so cutesy as some of the other ones (though I love them too, I’m a member of 7 forums/MBs, lol!), but still very cool!

Thanks to everyone who’s commented letting me know the problems they see on the site, especially Carolynne for the screenshots. I THINK I may have worked out what was doing it. I looked at my coding this morning and discovered some random crap about a font size and colour around the code for the iframe. I realised that wasn’t supposed to be there, and wasn’t serving any purpose so I deleted it and reuploaded main.html and I THINK it’s got rid of the gaps around the iframe. Hmm. I still see a scrollbar at the bottom of the blog in Firefox (JUST the blog, it disappears when I click to other internal pages), so I think it might be something to do with the width of the theme…it’s a mystery, but at least you don’t have to keep scrolling sideways to see the content, imagine how annoying that would be!!

Anyway. Not a lot of excitingness is going on in my life at the moment! It was my mum’s birthday on Tuesday (she turned 59!) and she got a new cellphone, but she hasn’t worked out how to use it yet, lol. It’s really cool, it’s the silver version of this one. Spiffy.

I also might now have a job! Working at the morning session of a “before/after school supervision” program at the local primary school! Woo! The new term doesn’t start until February, so I don’t start until then, but still, it sounds awesome! I went to an interview at the beginning of December, but I had to have a police background check which took a long time to send the results back, so I only found out on Tuesday that they were intending to offer it to me! It’s quite good, it runs from 7:30-8:30 in the morning, which means, although it’s an early start, that it fits in well around uni, since the earliest lecture time is 9:10am, so even if I do have an early lecture, I’ll still have time to get to it.

I’m going shoe shopping later I think. I have to buy boring shoes though, no pretty heels or anything. I have enough of them, lol! I also might try and buy some star paper, since my friend taught me how to make them of Tuesday and I’ve now used up all the paper I had for them (which I actually bought long before I realised what it was even for!). I think my goal is to fill a big bowl/vase with them. That would be awesome. Once I get around to having another photo taking session I will take some pictures.
