Alfred Angelo Disney Princess Wedding Dresses
Corbyjane tweeted about these on Sunday and I think they are amazing. They’re named after/designed in the style of Disney Princesses, but aren’t tacky or cartoonish at all. Which one is my favourite? Um…all of them!? I looked at the list for AGES and couldn’t decide! The one above is Belle, btw.
I’m sorry there’s only one Thing That I Love this week – I’m SO crazily busy this week with teaching and planning that I haven’t had much time to trawl the internet looking for awesomeness! Boo.

Well, not ME personally, but a message I wrote was in the Star today!
A week or so age, someone sent me a link to a website where people in Christchurch during the earthquake could post thank you messages to people who helped them. These messages would appear on their website, and in The Star.
I filled one out for the woman who drove me home from TColl on the day of the earthquake. I knew her name, and what she was studying at college, but not any more contact details, so I hoped it would be published and that she would see it!
Tonight I got a Tweet from Luke, asking me whether the “Holly” in the paper today was me, or someone else! Yep! It was me! My message had been published, but I had not seen it because I don’t get this newspaper delivered to my house. Luke kindly scanned the page and emailed it to me, so I could post it here. When I read it, I was amused to see that whoever put the article together had written “Lisa, FLO student OF TColl” instead of “Lisa, FLO student FROM TColl”! LOL! Oh well – hopefully her family gets this paper delivered and she sees it and realises it’s referring to her!
Once TColl gets up and running again and admin staff are allowed to access their offices, I will email them, tell them everything I know about her, and ask if they can either give me her address so I can send her a thank you card, or take the card and post it to her on my behalf.

Poodle Art
Ally showed me this at the weekend and this was when I realised I could be super organised and start planning and drafting my WILW posts in advance, and collecting things I love to share! My first reaction to this was "OMG! Poor dog! It looks so stupid!" but then I thought about it and decided it’s actually pretty cool, and definitely very clever! I’d certainly never do this to my dog if I had one, but I still think it’s awesome. More photos here!

Green apples
I have eaten SO many of these this week! I’m a big fan of sour sweets, so I suppose it’s not really terribly surprising that this is my favourite type of apple.

Orange juice
I never used to really like this, but I think I must be lacking in Vitamin C or something, ‘cos lately I could happily drink it by the litre!
