Children + drama = love

Last night my drama class had their end of term performances, which went amazingly well! I don’t have many photos yet, but when the professional ones go up on the theatre school’s website I might see if I can steal a few to put on here. In the meantime, here are a couple we took backstage.

For those of you who are observant, yes we are in a school classroom! The theatre we performed in is attached to a primary school, and because there were so many children, we used classrooms as dressing rooms to give ourselves a bit more space.

These kids are seriously awesome. I am super excited to teach them again next term! I am ridiculously tired, but this kind of thing is worth it because I love it. Yes, I probably am slightly mad, but oh well!

In other news, the winner of the My Memories giveaway is Jaime! Please email me for your free download’s code. :)

As for the previous post, Two Truths and a Lie…I’ll post the answers another day! ;)

the show I’m in has about 25 little kids in it. The more time I spend with them, the more I realize I don’t like kids. I don’t think I liked kids much when I was a kid either… they never shut up! ever! They’re just incapable. I hope my kid is as quiet as I was, lol.

I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed your student teaching. I did too, a lot more than I thought I would. I cried when I had to let go of my kids (such a sob-ball I know). But You’ll get a bunch of new ones of your own to mold and teach and it becomes a lovely cycle.
