Why oh why do I always manage to pick the worst possible time to get sick!? On Friday morning I woke up feeling kind of sick, but, not wanting to call in sick to work, took some Panadol Rapid (my new friend, I suspect), went to work and was fine.

From Friday afternoon until Saturday night I was ok, but then I woke up feeling sick on Sunday, and have been off work as of yesterday morning. :/

I also woke up this morning and discovered rather a lot of snow outside. Brilliant.

Anyway! I’m in the middle of rather a lot of uni work right now, thus why I haven’t been blogging very much, but a new WP theme is on the way soon, as are my smilies and comment CSS, which I cleverly deleted when I upgraded WordPress. I do it EVERY time! *bangs head on wall* :/

I’m now done with uni for the semester, aside from one class tomorrow, which will most likely consist of very little work and rather a lot of eating. :D

This weekend has been rather lazy for me, considering I’ve had no work to do. I haven’t done a lot, which is good, for once, since I’ve been so busy!

Last night I was on the phone to Merrilyn about her 21st and she asked me if we had any snow. I live up on a hill around 150 metres above sea level, so if it ever snows in Christchurch, I usually get it earlier and heavier than the people down on the flat.

By this time it was about 8pm and completely dark outside, so I said "No, but it’s been raining all day". She said "Oh, coz it’s snowing down here!". I looked out the window and there was all this snow! Apparently I FAIL at being observant!

Later on I talked to Jenny and she said it had started snowing at her house around 4pm, so how on earth I managed to miss it for FOUR HOURS I have absolutely no clue! This photo, by the way, is NOT of the snow at my house. Thank goodness it’s nowhere near that heavy! I did take a photo, for my Project 365 (which needs serious updating!), but by the time I got around to doing it, it was like 10pm and so dark it didn’t turn out very well at all. Bum.

In other news…not a lot. I know I’m severely behind on returning comments to other blogs (which I will catch up on today!) and that this blog could also do with a new theme. Hmm. That involves brain power. Oh dear.
